Doug Walker was born in Sacramento, CA. He loved sports throughout his youth and played basketball

and baseball in high school. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in

Santiago Chile. He attended BYU after his mission for a year, came home to Sacramento the following

summer to work and water-ski. He ended up getting swept off his feet by the beautiful Deanne Wills at

a YSA fireside where she encouraged him to be a gentlemen and get her a chair next to him. They dated
