This site was created to serve the 36+ Single Adults of the Kansas City Region

of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  

OUR STANDARDS AND GOALS

We believe in God the Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost and strive in all we do to exemplify that belief.

 

In all our activities we hold to the standard of Doctrine & Covenants 89, known as the Word of Wisdom in abstaining from alcohol, tobacco and harmful drugs.

 

We honor our covenants and follow our Prophet by adhering to the dress standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  This includes dressing modestly and appropriately for all occasions; and in being well groomed. That includes (but is not limited to) no short shorts or skirts, tight clothing,  or clothing of any kind that does not appropriately cover.

We further adhere to the standards of the church in ensuring that our music and videos do not contain inappropriate lyrics or images.

Participation in single adult activities is limited to single adult members, assigned Church officers, and single adult nonmembers who are willing to abide by Church standards. A person who is separated from his or her spouse or is seeking a divorce may not participate until the divorce decree has become final according to law.

 

Abiding by these principles helps us accomplish our goal of having His spirit with us at all times and in all places.
